Prince of Persia: Warriors Within is a side-scrolling action adventure game.
Rather than release a slow, three dimensional port of Prince of Persia: Warriors Within, Gameloft presents a smartly executed two dimensional game. Pulling elements from the console version, Prince of Persia: Warriors Within on Java requires players to save the world from the "Empress of Time." Her quest for revenge against the Prince of Persia is for surviving the Sands of Time and preventing his own death.
The controls of Prince of Persia: Warriors Within consists of platforming puzzles and sword combat. Since Prince of Persia: Warriors Within uses a side-scrolling view, the platforming is similar to older games. Sword combat is also required by players to defeat the many enemies that the Prince of Persia meets through the ten different levels.
Prince of Persia: Warriors Within is a mixture of old school platforming action and combat mastery.
